Internships enable students to acquire skills, which cannot be learned in the classroom environment. Interns develop interpersonal skills, team-working skills, professionalism and customer management experience. Students also can improve their communication, confidence and self-efficacy. Those with internship experience are more likely to find jobs and earn more. In the information technology (IT) s internships provide valuable knowledge on-the-job training that helps students to develop entrepreneurial skills and prepares them for self-employment in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Lakeba Internship Program
Lakeba reviews applications by students for internship on a case-by-case basis across a variety of functions including, IT development, Legal & Finance, sales and marketing. Interns are typically university students or recent graduates looking for hands-on business experience in an area relevant to their field of study. Internships typically range from 12 months based on curriculum or individual requirements and are structured around the intern’s desired objectives and outcomes.
Duration of work: 1 year internship
Eligibility: Graduates with 1 year experience and more
