Ms Hammond has extensive board director and business advisory experience. She’s the Executive Chairman & Founder of Director Institute, Australia’s largest board search practice and fastest growth network of next generation board director talent.  

Ms Hammond has an extensive background in the ICT industry, having worked in senior leadership roles across the Asia Pacific region with Cisco Systems, Oracle, Deloitte and Gartner. A recognised industry leader in human capital and talent management, Ms Hammond has been involved in recruiting thousands of executives, and personally mentoring many of Australia’s top CEO’s and Board Director talent. 

For several years, Ms Hammond was involved with the Australian Small Scale Offering Board as a Business Sponsor successfully raising over $50 million capital for high potential early-stage technology businesses.  

An active investor and serial entrepreneur, Ms Hammond believes that there has never been a more exciting time to be working in the technology industry, supporting Lakeba’s substantial business portfolio which is addressing complex global business problems: “I am absolutely delighted to be chairing the Board of Lakeba Group, supporting the business portfolio and strategic growth at this important time of the group’s rapid business expansion. Ms Hammond is completing a Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance at Bond University later this year. Bringing to Lakeba Group her expertise in capital raising, business strategy, enterprise risk management and boardroom governance.
