Clarification Regarding AfricAI

Lakeba Group wishes to clarify its position in relation to the AfricAI initiative.

AfricAI was publicly announced in 2025 as a proposed strategic joint initiative involving Lakeba Group and AqlanX, based on representations made by third parties regarding the structure, governance, and strategic intent of the initiative.

Subsequent to that announcement, Lakeba Group and AqlanX have become aware that AfricAI is being promoted and represented in the market by Next Digital and Agentic Dynamic as an initiative independent of Lakeba Group and AqlanX, and without their involvement.

Lakeba Group and AqlanX do not control, operate, manage, or govern AfricAI, and are not involved in its commercial activities, technology development, partnerships, or strategic direction.

Any reference to Lakeba Group, AqlanX, or their respective leadership in connection with AfricAI is unauthorised and should not be relied upon.

Lakeba Group and AqlanX have formally withdrawn from any association with AfricAI and reserve all rights in relation to the matter.

This statement is issued to ensure clarity for partners, investors, stakeholders, and the broader market.
