Our Vision/Mission Statement

Lakeba engineers’ future technologies that accelerate businesses towards a better tomorrow.

Our portfolio consists of 15 businesses and their specialist technologies. Twelve are being built, three have already exited. By conceiving these businesses and their technologies from the ground up, creating their operational models and commercialising them into mature revenue and profit-generating businesses. 

Founded in 2013 and awarded Microsoft Gold Partnership status in 2018, The Financial Times recognised Lakeba as an Asia Pacific High Growth Company for two years running, in 2020 and 2021. Lakeba’s also ranked as one of Australia’s Fastest Growing Companies. 

We develop our technologies from our headquarters in Sydney, Australia. Supported by our offices in India, Italy, the UK and the US. With a team of 160 specialists in capital funding, coding, financial management, marketing, operations, public relations, risk management and, of course, technology. 

About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the CMO to deliver all projects and tasks with high output 
  • Support an industry-leading CRM program / Microsoft Dynamics, including one-off campaigns, lifecycle campaigns and campaign automation 
  • Work with developers and venture leads to create Marketing campaigns with high success rate (always measuring)  
  • Build optimal channel marketing tactics and build build programs and campaigns into the marketing automation platform and ensure a rhythm of review, monitor, optimise and reporting 
  • Manage and coordinate all SEO and SEM matter across all ventures 
  • On demand, manage LinkedIn and Yammer announcements and designs  
  • Explore partnership opportunities to drive product acquisition and deepen customer engagement 
  • Manage and execute marketing and sales focused projects including industry events 
  • Work with developers to create wireframes and market facing assets for websites and our digital solutions 

Requirements

  • At least 6-8 years’ experience in Marketing  
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, ability to think innovatively and pivot on idea where necessary 
  • Customer centred design thinking for all integrated marketing campaigns with focus on CRM 
  • Proven project management skills and ability to build project plans to deliver on time and objective 
  • Work with other technical consultants in architecting our CRM system, related customisations, and reports to model the client’s organisational processes 
  • Excellent time management skills and proactive attitude. Ability to juggle competing priorities, to be responsive and to effectively manage your time 
  • Proven skills in SEO and SEM including all Socialmedia tasks 
  • A fast learner – you love understanding how things work and why and look for ways to improve 
  • Previous experience working with creative agencies, external partnerships, and relationship management/executive teams 
  • Great interpersonal skills and openness to learn and develop to add value to our business 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Digital or Relevant tertiary qualifications 
  • 6+ years’ experience in a similar type role across Marketing 
  • Excellent skills in CANVA and PowerPoint applications 
  • HTML skills desired but not essential 
  • Proven hands-on experience building CRM campaigns 
  • Solid technical ability – comfortable with technology, ability to work across a variety of systems, extracting and manipulating content across different online platforms 
  • Strong experience in B2B & B2C digital marketing 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
