Come and join us at a thought provoking session: “Blockchain: the myths, movers and market makers” here at Lakeba Level 2/6 The Corso, Manly, on Friday 20th October from 4pm to 6pm.

What are the current myths and realities when it comes to blockchain?

Is blockchain fundamentally changing how we manage “trust” and if so what might this mean for businesses, communities and individuals. Hear how blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies are moving industries and markets globally and join the “round room” discussion on where to next.

The community discussion will be lead by Luke Anderson – Ph.D candidate and lecturer, Sydney University.

Luke Anderson is a lecturer and consultant and is currently undertaking his Ph.D in blockchain technologies at the University of Sydney.

He is examining the underlying networks and potential applications of blockchain.

Luke is also one of Australia’s leading advisors on blockchain, cryptocurrencies and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs)

Luke will be joined by our host, and Quixxi CEO, Giuseppe Porcelli, Innovation evangelist, blockchain and cryptocurrency developer & advocate.

Giuseppe Porcelli is an innovation evangelist with commercial acumen and a proven track record of driving value for his teams, his partners, businesses and investors. He constantly looks to disrupt the status quo and builds new business models. He is a blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiast, who is active in the blockchain community and currently harnessing the power of blockchain to develop new services for launch in the first quarter of 2018.
